For the transport and storage of these fruit bags, COROOS chose turnstack containers from Engels. The containers of the Turnbin series are characterised by the fact that they can be stacked directly on top of each other. In addition, they can be pushed into each other by a half turn, which we call “nesting”. This minimises the space required for return transport or storage.
Engels produces these containers in two colours, in this case yellow and green plastic. This makes it clear at a glance whether the container can be nested or stacked.
Impact-resistant HDPE container
The containers are made of impact-resistant HDPE and are ideal for use in cold environments. The bins also have small round perforations, which allow them to be ventilated and the contents of the boxes to cool down quickly. Thanks to the small perforations, even small products can be transported and stored excellently in these containers.
Engels offers a project-specific solution for a specific challenge. The project started with 15,000 containers. Another 25,000 totes are now in use.
