buhl-paperform was able to receive this prestigious award in 2016 and 2022, and in 2024 the family company will once again be one of the most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany. This not only underlines the constant innovative strength, but also the continuity and reliability of the family business.
The innovative strength was checked by the renowned innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Over 100 criteria from five categories were examined, from innovative top management and innovation climate to external orientation and innovation success. The focus is not on individual company innovations, but rather on the entirety of innovation management.
The company’s commitment to innovation and growth is manifested in pioneering product design, climate-friendly manufacturing processes and long-term personnel development. Investments in sustainable training as well as regular training and further education measures are a matter of course for medium-sized companies.
The construction of a new production site underlines the willingness to open up new markets and expand the company. The new production facility not only demonstrates the commitment to innovation in product design, but also in the production processes. The use of natural resources such as rain and drainage water, sun and wind at the innovative three-weather location as well as the installation of state-of-the-art machines set new standards in efficiency and energy saving.
